Just wanted to tell you we LOVED our cabin and the campground. Great place to stay. Cool during the day warm at night. Stayed nice and dry even during the horrendous thunderstorm that hit. The beer garden and food was great. Really good breakfast our complements to the cook!

We came across the campground by accident one year & liked it, we have stayed here for the past 5 years now and this year will be no different..we have tried other places a couple times but came back & will stay no place else from now on! We have an awesome time, its clean & friendly. We like that its a short ride into Sturgis and close to Full Throttle & Thunder Road. Bear Butte in the a.m. in a plus! OK, I\m not new at Iron Horse but I can say it is the best camp ground in my book\s. Sure they don\t have big name people entertaining, but we have one heck of a party any night of the week. Ken and his creww have a good thing going and I hope he keep\s it that way. I did make it in 2007, but I will in 2008 an will come back every year. Yes I tried Myrtle beach and it does not compare with Sturgis. Anyone that reads this, COMEON AND HAVE A GOOD TIME AT IRON HORSE CAMP GROUND.

Rick is the man!! We\ve camped at Iron Horse since they opened. After 9 years of camping there, we now rent three spots to fit all the relatives and friends who camp with us during Sturgis. Great staff and food. This is the place!

I have been staying there for the last three years, 07 will be the fourth. I have allways had a great time, lots of beer, music is getting better, flushing toilets, hot showers, plenty of room to stay were you want. There is not a better deal in south dakota. You can sleep at night and still hear the other campground bands at night. Close to everything, and always a good crowd. Simply the best.

great host, great price, fantanstic location. close to everything yet can sleep at night. friends joined later in week and were able to stay right next to us. lots of hot water - a few more showers (for those down the hill would be nice) but even that was okay. will not get a better place for the money
