Hey Joni,
You need to update any comments from the last summer. There were some rough times because of the weather but if you put hospitality ahead of an expected rain shower(always in SD) you have yourself a great place to have fun and PARTY. Carl and Joni put on the best for everyone that is there and I tell you the Pork feed is to die for. A must place to go. We have been there two years in a row and have loved it. We have met so many new people and have made friends with so many repeat sturgis rally goers. Close to all and yet far enough away to have some quiet times. See you in 2008!!! Jack and Natalie

I stayed at cottonwood for the last three year\s and don\t know anybody that has had a more fun filled week that we had this last year 2004 with Joni, Carl and the whole crew at the campground. they take care of us like we are one of their own. good food,dancing,bar,a place to put your bike and good reatroom and shower\s. If anybody has any ???? just e mail me and I\ll answer you back

I had a great time in Sturgis, but I\ll tell you what. At the end of the day I was sure glad to head up to the Cottonwood Creek Camp for a quiet evening around a campfire, some good old fashioned pig roasting, and a peaceful nights sleep. The accommodations were great and the people were even greater. Sturgis 2001

Stayed at Cottonwood in 02 and had a blast. Could not make it last year but will be meeting and riding out from the east coast this year with a friend I met at the camp in 02. Who remembers sitting around the table drinking expensive tequila with the couple in the motor home from Wisconsin. Send me a note if you were there in 02 and are returning. I can\t wait to get there.

It was our first rally and staying at Cottonwood was a great choice. Met some fantastic new freinds, some of whom will be makeing the Run to the Wall with Jim and I in Washington D.C. in May. Hi Carl and Joni,This is Jim (the BMW from Colorado). I just wanted to say thanks for everthing. The stay at your place was one of the high-points of the entire trip, it really felt like coming home. The atmosphere, the people ... it was all GREAT!! I\m especially glad I was there when that rain storm came through :^) It was wonderful to be able to get me and the bike inside, out of the weather. HI to all. We have just returned home from the trip and want everyone to know what a great time we had. An important part of the fun was the time spent at Cottonwood Camp with Karl and Joni. I do not know of more hospitable or friendly people-they went out of their way many times to make our trip more fun. We had a blast just hanging out at the campground and saved a bunch of $$ by not having to go to out for fun. Thanks guys.
